FINALLY, the gloves have arrived and they attach the the jackets! The quality is as good as the last batch. We are in the process of shipping them all out. Shipping notifications will be updated within the next couple of days.

For local backers, you will be contacted for arranging pick-up.

Hey guys,

I hope everyone had a pleasant Easter long weekend. I know it has been a while since the last update. The truth is, after Chinese New Year, the factory that produces our gloves had a massive backlog of orders due to everything being shut down for a month. Initally we were not made aware of this so it, although understandable, took us by surprise nonetheless. That, coupled with the fact that my point of contact went on a week vacation made communication a little tough.

I didn't want to send an update until I knew for sure what was going on. Fortunately, the gloves are finally done and are being shipped to me. We expect them to arrive at the end of this week/early next week. As soon as we get them, we will check the quality, make sure they attach to the jackets then ship them off to you guys respectively.

Hey guys,

I hope everyone is doing well. Most of you guys have now received your jackets and the remaining have theirs in transit as we speak. The responses I have received with regards to the jackets have been amazing and I am so glad everyone has loved the quality!!  If you haven't already, I'd love to get your feedback/comments either in the comments section or a personal message. 

Gloves

I have been in touch with the manufacture since the end of Chinese New Year and the replacement gloves are now under production. I expect them to be done and shipped next week. The gloves will have an off-white/silver snap button on them as opposed to the gun metal ones we used on the samples. We are now very much on the same page with the manufacture and I hope, this time, we will get the proper snap buttons on these gloves so they attach to the jackets. 

Looking Ahead

We learned a lot from this campaign and we are so glad we did it. Moving forward, we are planning on launching another campaign in June. Over the next couple of months we will be unveiling a bunch of stuff including some new designs, colour options, and more. We will also be finishing up our website soon. We urge all backers to sign up for an account once it is finished. I will be using Kickstarter updates for...well updates so you don't have to worry about pesky email newsletters. The account will be for purchases through us directly after the next campaign, reviews on the website to help verify it for any potential customers in the future as well as special perks. I will never forget everyone of you guys who believed in us from the very beginning. So you can be darn sure I'll have some exclusive stuff for just you guys as we keep growing. 

Remaining Jackets Have Been Shipped! Update on Gloves & Thanks!

Hey guys,

I just wanted to provide another update. Due to a long weekend here, shipping was delayed a day, however, we ended up getting the jackets out! I have be sending the remaining tracking numbers to you guys. Although we are very happy that the jackets are out, there was yet another delay with the gloves.

Gloves

As mentioned last update, we did indeed receive the gloves. To our surprise, however, the snap buttons on the gloves were different than the ones on the jacket and thus, the gloves did not attach. As you guys can imagine, this has been very frustrating especially after we spent some time with the manufacture back in December in order to make sure the gloves would arrive with the proper snap buttons. After communicating extensively with the manufacture, it turns out the issue laid within their internal communication. The person I usually dealt with went on maternity leave and the person that took over our order was not aware that, when we decided to change the colour of our of the snap button from gun metal to silver (for a better look),  the model/type of snap buttons would have to remain the same.

Although the situation appears to be resolved, due to the Chinese New Year, the factory will not open until a week from now. For those who ordered a pair of gloves with their jackets, I truly apologize for the delay. 

Due to this, we decided to ship all the jackets so at least you guys would have them while you wait for the gloves. We will update you guys when the gloves arrive with the proper snap buttons and will ship them out without charging any extra for shipping. 

For those individuals whom have just ordered the gloves (and no jacket) we will proceed with shipping out your gloves now since, aside from being the wrong snap buttons, the gloves turned out really really good and we were happy with the quality. For those of you who only ordered gloves, if you guys want to wait for the replacement gloves with the correct snap buttons, please let me know within the next day or two otherwise I will ship them out.

The initial reactions for the jackets have been great. We'd love to hear/see more comments from more of you when you receive your  jackets. At the price we were offering, people usually think of leather jackets as fake or a scam. We want to prove to those individuals that ToA is neither. We are the first to offer modern, luxury like jackets at a fair price. So, please share your experiences whenever you can.

I also want to take a moment to just thank you guys. We truly appreciate your guys' patience and support through out all of this. Without each and everyone of you, ToA would still be a dream and not a reality. It is amazing that, with such platforms like Kickstarter, individuals such as myself can actually try and start a business like this, with very little money and student loan debt, and reach so many different individuals, and get such an amazing response. It has been tough and I have learned a lot but amazing at the same time. So, again, thank you to everyone,

We are already planning another campaign which we hope to launch in June. There will be a lot of exciting announcements  to come to stay tuned!

Jackets Shipped!

Hey guys!

It's been an exciting week! Most of the local pick ups are done and the jackets are getting shipped in batches. Some of you should be getting emails with tracking information. For those of you who have not, stay patient, we are on it. We will have them all out within the next few days :)

Some more good news, the gloves are here and for those you ordered both gloves and jackets will get them together after all :)

So far the first impressions have been great! We'd love for you guys to share your thoughts and impressions.
